“Planning for the future has equalled a budget overrun for construction of Orangeville’s new school.”
When the tender closed for the project, the lowest bid received by the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) was $140,000 above the proposed budget.
The board received bids from nine companies to construct the school. Tambro Construction was the lowest bidder at $5.7 million. The highest bid received was $6.3 million.
